Hey! my name is Darren Gilbert, for the past 8 years I have been deeply involved in youth ministry and I love it with all of my heart! Each year along with my Church and student ministry we raise money for what is call, Sheaves For Christ. Sheaves For Christ is a fundraising ministry of the General Youth Division of the United Pentecostal Church International. Since its inception in 1952, over 100 million dollars has been raised to fund missions and ministries around the word. This year I am taking on a personal goal to raise $10,125 by riding my road bike 125 miles! My goal is to get 10,125 people to sponsor me $1 each! What do you believe in, to the very core of your being? What are the values or convictions that you feel to your toes? Maybe they were born of Bible study. Maybe they showed up on the heels of pain. Or perhaps they are the result of a Holy Spirit prompting intended just for you. Sort out what they are, communicate them to those you lead, and then live according to them.

Take a moment and write down the values/convictions that you believe to your core! Then let them arbitrate key decisions. Let them tell you where you throw your time and energy and passion and money. And let them help you stay close to the vision God is asking you to pursue.
